Tips and ready-made wording
Secret Santa: what the invitation needs
Secret Santa has rules, and rules agreed in the invitation avoid awkward moments on the day:
- The date and place of the reveal.
- The gift budget (minimum and maximum).
- The date of the draw and how it will be done.
- Whether there is a theme ("handmade gift", "something to eat") or a wish list.
Company year-end party
A company invitation needs the essentials crystal clear: date, time, place, whether guests chip in or the company pays, dress code and whether there will be a Secret Santa. For many guests, send the PNG to the group chat and print the PDF for the notice board.
When to send it
December fills up fast. For family dinners and office parties, send the invitation at the end of November or early December; for Secret Santa, together with the draw announcement, at least two weeks before the reveal.
Ready-made wording to copy
- “Christmas is more beautiful with the family together. Come have Christmas dinner with us!”
- “There's going to be a Secret Santa! Draw on the agreed date, gifts up to R$ 50 and lots of laughs at the reveal.”
- “Let's close the year together: come to our year-end party and toast the team's achievements.”
