Tips and ready-made wording

Digital wedding invitations: when they make sense

A digital invitation works well for smaller weddings, civil ceremonies, destination weddings and guests who live far away. Many couples do both: send the digital one to everyone and print the PDF just for grandparents and godparents.

What to put on a wedding invitation

Wedding invitations are usually more formal and more complete:

  • The couple's names (and, if you like, their parents').
  • The day and time of the ceremony and, if it is somewhere else, of the reception.
  • The full address, with a map link sent alongside.
  • Suggested dress code.
  • The RSVP deadline and how to reply.
  • The gift registry link, if there is one — better in the message than written on the artwork.

How far in advance

For a wedding, it is customary to send the invitation 2 to 3 months ahead, with a save-the-date before that if many guests need to travel. A reminder one week before helps you hear from those who have not replied yet.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work for an engagement, a civil wedding and an anniversary?
Yes. All the text is editable, and there are templates designed for anniversaries and beach ceremonies.
Is the PDF good enough to print?
Yes. The PDF is generated in high resolution, in A4 or A6 depending on the chosen format, ready for a print shop.
Can I include an RSVP?
Write in the note how and by when to reply (on WhatsApp, for example). ViraCarta does not manage the guest list.
How much does it cost?
from R$4.90 per template, a one-time payment by Pix or card. The preview is free and you can edit and download again.
